CYCKLATRAN-M TABLET is a synergistic formulation containing Tranexamic Acid and Mefenamic Acid, two powerful agents commonly used for the treatment of menorrhagia (heavy menstrual bleeding) and dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation). This combination addresses both the excessive bleeding and the painful cramps that often accompany menstruation, making it a preferred solution for comprehensive menstrual health management.
Tranexamic Acid is an antifibrinolytic agent that helps in reducing excessive menstrual blood loss by preventing the breakdown of blood clots. It works by inhibiting plasminogen activation, which slows fibrinolysis and ensures blood clot stability.
Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, thus reducing inflammation, pain, and uterine contractions responsible for menstrual cramps.
